Continuing his series of nature-inspired designs for New Balance, Salehe Bembury presents “Heat Be Hot,” two limited-edition colorways of the 1906R. Influenced by a journey to Bali, the colors, lines, textures, and patterns inspired by volcanic activity, both iterations of this 2000s running silhouette utilize a warm color palette across the mesh upper with cooling accents along the synthetic overlays, symbolizing lava in its various states. These core tones continue onto the flexible ACTEVA LITE midsole, while contrasting colors highlight the segmented ABZORB SBS pods at the heel. The design is finished off with N-ergy and Stability Web outsole technologies for added shock absorption and enhanced arch support
